Matrix Solutions Announces New Additions to Team and Promotions
New Team Members Bring Knowledge and Skills to Advertising Sales
Software Market Leader
PITTSBURGH, PA, February 15, 2008- Matrix Solutions, the leading
provider of sales strategy management software for the media sales
industry, today announced new hires in the training, sales and
software development groups and a promotion in the sales and training
groups.
New Hires
Craig Biertempfel was recently hired to perform
sales functions as an Inside Sales Representative. Prior to joining
Matrix Solutions, he worked for ComponentOne as the Senior Product
Consultant for Frontline and with SmartOps as a Business Development
Consultant. Mr. Biertempfel attended St. Vincent College in Latrobe,
Pennsylvania and holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science
and History.
Dan Havens was recently hired to perform sales functions as an
Account Manager. He brings a wealth of knowledge and broadcast
industry experience to Matrix Solutions from his tenure in the
broadcasting industry. Prior to joining the company, he worked
for Marketron International as Vice President of Sales. Mr. Havens
is a graduate of Iowa State University and holds a Bachelor of
Science in English and Speech.
Aram Malinich was recently hired to perform
software development functions as a C#/.NET Software Developer.
In his role, he will assist in the development of software projects
while contributing to the improvement of the standards and practices
of the Software Development Department. He brings five years of
IT experience to Matrix Solutions. Prior to joining the company,
he worked for Giant Eagle as a Programmer/Analyst. Mr. Malinich
is a graduate of Penn State, Erie, and holds a Bachelor of Science
in Management Information Systems with a minor in Management.
Christine Lenchner was recently hired as the
Director of Training. In her role she is responsible for providing
strategic and tactical development and implementation of client
and in-house training services that educate others on the use
and application of Matrix Solutions’ software and services;
in addition, she is responsible for the development and maintenance
of business relationships as supported through the training process.
Prior to joining Matrix Solutions, she worked for the University
of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), where she was a Training
Manager. She has also worked for Marconi Ericsson where she was
the Technical Training Manager. Ms. Lenchner brings more than
15 years of technical training and development experience to Matrix
Solutions. She has a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University
of Pittsburgh and a Master of Science in Education from Duquesne
University.
Lisa Vesely was recently hired to perform sales
functions as an Account Manager. Prior to joining the company,
she worked for CBS Radio as an Account Executive. Ms. Vesely is
a graduate of Duquesne University and holds a Bachelor of Science
in Education.
Promotions
Jonathan Diven was promoted from Business Development
Manager to Senior Account Manager. In his new role, he is responsible
for developing new clients, with particular focus on selling and
delivering Matrix Solutions consulting services. Mr. Diven joined
Matrix Solutions in May 2001.
Curt Emerick was promoted from Senior Accountant
to Controller. In his new role, he will direct and coordinate
the company’s financial planning and budget management functions,
manage the relationships with the company’s banking, financial,
and accounting agencies, and monitor and analyze monthly operating
results against budget. In addition to overseeing the daily operations
of the finance department, he will manage the preparation of monthly
and year-end financial results, outlook and forecast, and will
serve on the management planning committee. Mr. Emerick joined
Matrix Solutions in November 2005.
Dana Snyder was promoted from Client Services
Manager to Customer Implementation Manager. In her new role, she
facilitates new customer installations from the point of sale
through training, conversions, including product upgrades, as
well as requests for professional services from clients. Ms. Snyder
joined Matrix Solutions at the end of 2002.
