Pittsburgh’s Mayor O’Connor to Attend Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Matrix Solutions

Pittsburgh, PA, June 7, 2006 – Matrix Solutions, the leading provider of sales strategy management software for the media industry, announced the grand opening of its new headquarters in Pittsburgh’s North Shore community. Mayor Bob O’Connor will participate in the ribbon cutting ceremony at 901 Pennsylvania Avenue on Thursday, June 15, 2006.

The event celebrates the relocation of Matrix Solutions from Ross Township. Speakers include Mayor O’Connor and Matrix Solution’s President, D.J. Cavanaugh.

The new media software facility currently houses 30 Matrix Solutions business and technology professionals and has the capacity for 25 additional staff. Designed by a team of Matrix Solutions employees, the new facility has a contemporary design with distinctive areas for collaboration that encourage employees to engage in informal discussions. The warehouse-style building, containing more than 15,000 square feet of space, was originally an industrial age valve manufacturing company.

Matrix Solutions believes its business growth will be energized by relocating to Pittsburgh, a city Kiplingers Personal Finance magazine calls “a smart place to live”. The company’s expansion has enabled it, along with a growing number of other companies, to become part of the North Shore development effort.
