Prior to moving into his new role, Cavanaugh has had 6 years of executive leadership as Matrix Solutions’ General Manager and VP of Sales. In his role as president, he will be responsible for guiding Matrix Solutions’ future strategies and direction. “Having been on the other side of the desk, as a manager with different media companies, I have great respect for the many challenges that our customers face every day. Assuming the role of chief operating officer, Brian Lunt will be responsible for all financial and operational areas of the business including finance and administration, legal, and human resources. “It’s very exciting to see our company expand and develop. D.J. Cavanaugh has been the primary driver of Matrix Solutions’ focus on sales strategy solutions for media sellers. Cavanaugh is able to leverage over 18 years experience strategizing, managing, marketing, selling and investing in technology for the broadcast sales industry. He helps Matrix Solution's premiere customers define their long-term sales management and strategic plans to meet their sales goals and objectives by realizing greater revenue potential and executing more strategically. Cavanaugh joined Matrix Solutions in part by being an early user of the company’s flagship software product, MatrixPlus, during his career in broadcast advertising sales management. His experience in sales strategy and in combination with in-depth knowledge of sales management in the media industry has enabled him to guide the development of high-value, innovative solutions for customers of Matrix Solutions.

Brian Lunt joined Matrix Solutions in 2000 and has served as Vice President of Operations. Under his leadership, the company has experienced average annual customer growth of 100+%. Lunt brings more than 22 years of business management experience in the industries of financial services and technology encompassing both regional and national enterprises.
