  • Assisting with software testing and documentation as needed
  • Helping build a culture of learning and continuous improvement on the team

You should have:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related degree
  • 3 years of experience developing web applications on an enterprise platform such as ASP.NET, J2EE, or LAMP
  • 2+ years of experience developing in C#/.NET or ASP/.NET
  • Knowledge of web development architectural patterns such as MVC/MVP and the Front Controller pattern
  • Proficiency with standard web display technologies such as CSS and JavaScript
  • 2+ years of experience working with relational databases, specifically SQL Server and T-SQL
  • Strong object-oriented programming skills

  • Hands-on knowledge of source control and build tools

Additional desirable skills:

  • Experience implementing CRM solutions
  • MCPD/MCITP certification
  • Experience with the Enterprise Library
  • Knowledge of the SQL Server Business Intelligence Toolset (SSIS/SSRS/SSAS)
  • Experience with ASP.NET MVC
  • Experience with agile and test-driven development methodologies
  • Full life-cycle development experience
  • Experience with NHibernate
  • Familiarity with design patterns and their application
  • Web design and/or user interface experience a plus
  • Knowledge of common network protocols such as HTTP, FTP, and SMTP

You should also:

  • Be knowledgeable of current software development/engineering methodologies
  • Have a keen interest in continuous improvement of process, product, and your own skills
  • Have a strong customer focus
  • Have strong problem-solving skills coupled with reasoning to be able to resolve problems or offer alternate solutions
  • Be a self-directed, high performer
  • Be an effective team and individual worker
  • Be open to change, results-oriented, and take initiative
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
